Fundraising opportunities!

We have a few different ways you can fund raise for your Mission Waco trip!

1. Joe Willy's- we are scheduled to have a fundraiser at Joe Willy's on Sunday, Feb. 24! We will send out a mysignup e-mail for you to sign your child up for a shift to work! This is completely optional. Even if your child does not need the help we would love for you to come and eat (or invite your friends!) to help raise money for others. We will have tip jars on the tables as well as receive 10% of all the proceeds that night! Be looking for the mysignup e-mail soon!

2. Art with a Mission- This is a silent auction put on by all of our 4th and 5th graders in our Surge program! The kids have been working hard all year to come up with ideas of projects and bake sale items to auction off. The kids get a chance to put their money towards a cause that means something to them- which for some kids is their Mission Waco trip account! The fundraiser will be held from 6:30-8:00 PM (the auction is from 6:30-7:30 and winners can pick up their items until 8) on Wednesday, Feb. 27th in Warehouse 45. The kids will be creating and passing out flyers, but here is a generic example for you to see!

Mission Waco meeting #1!

Welcome to the Surge Mission Waco blog for our 2013 trip! January 16th we have our first meeting at 6:30 PM in Warehouse 45! In case you cannot attend the meeting or lost your folder, I have attached all of the paperwork. 

During our trip, the blog is used to update the families and friends of our trip participants. Each day we will post pictures and stories of what we have experienced that day! Feel free to check out our blogs for the years past to get an example of what Mission Waco is all about!
